I've edited or proofread more than 400 published books and numerous articles, short stories, resumes, data sheets, brochures, grant applications, technical manuals, and white papers. My clients include published authors, aspiring authors, businesses, and non-profit organizations. In addition to correcting spelling, grammar, and punctuation, I can suggest improvements in writing style, check for accuracy, and enhance organization and structure. With my experience as Senior Editor for two publishers and contract editor for several others, I also bring an understanding of what works—and what doesn't—in commercial fiction and non-fiction.

Writing

Need a document written from scratch? I have written articles and white papers on a wide variety of subjects including psychology, computer programming, naval history, and medicine. In the marketing area, I've written press releases, ad copy, case studies, and client profiles. Several of my essays have been published on-line, and one has been included in a book. I can interview people, research topics, and come up with copy targeted to your audience.

I've designed brochures and booklets, prepared manuscripts for publication as e-books (epub and prc as well as HTML and PDF) and as print-ready files for POD production, and created charts, tables, and family tree diagrams.
